As for water color, Timothy - I've tried different colors and color combinations, blueish serves me best, because of ambient and sun light colors I use - they tend to color the water in unnatural hues, so I usually go for light blue (can't post experiment as comment), and combination of two colors works really well, but on larger surfaces, really. My personal opinion here, don't take it as professional advice :)

Intricate and atmospheric! I wonder how you might suggest the water with a different palette, not bright blue or anything, but maybe more silver?
